B.E. 2041 Thai Boxing appeared in the Nidhee Pragasita scripture which is the book of black magic. It was linked to the astrological scripture.
B.E. 2178 The black magic scripture was uprooted in a large number of it in the age of Somdej Prachao Prasart Thong.
B.E. 2245 Somdej Prachao Suer disquised himself as an ordinary people in Barn Pajanta, Wiset Chaichan township.
B.E. 2313 Nai Khanom Tom had the boxing competition with the Burmese fighter in front of the Burmese king’s Throne Hall.
B.E. 2381 Approximately Thai boxing handbook was born containing fourty-six images and it was linked to the War Strategic handbook in the age of Prabat Somdej Pra Nung Klao.
B.E. 2461 There was the first of muay arena to present muay contest. It was located in the area of City Pillar Shrine, Bangkok. It was built by Lieutenant General Phaya Dheb Hassadintra.
B.E. 2464 There was the permanent muay stage that was named Suan Gularb arena for preparing muay bout for the public. Praja Nontisuraindharapukdee is the manager of the arena. The first competition has the combat between Muen Mue Man Mud and Nai Phong Prajabok from Koraj. Nai Pong was the winner.
B.E. 2467 There was the main arena at the Chang located in the area of International Theather at present. Lieutenanl General Phaya Dhebhussadin was the manager of the arena.
B.E. 2467 There was a accident from bound first boxing competition at the Tha-Chang main boxing arena Nai Jia or Kru Jia, the fighter from Pra-Ta-Bong, resting from the competition at Pae Town go to take a fight with Nai Pair Liang Pra Seard, The Boxing teacher from Tha-Sao, Uttaradit. Kru ja made a slip from being punched. He was severely injured and finally died. So from then they had cancelled the bound firsts boxing and declaimed officially to use “Nuam” like international boxing custom instead.
B.E. 2472 There was boxing arena “Suan Sanuk” at Lumpini Garden, Bangkok Jao Khun Kana Thornbodee is the Manager of the arena.
B.E. 2478 There was Rajja Dham Neun arena managing by Nai Pramote PunegsunThron.
B.E. 2480 They applied international boxing rules to Thai rules and promulgate these rules.
B.E. 2488 There was RajjaDhamNeun arena managing by Nai Pramote PunegsunThron.
B.E.2502 Nokuji, the Japanese business man, spreaded the Thai boxing out into Japan in the name of “Kick Boxing”
B.E. 2519 Nokuji brought the Kick Boxing into Europe.
B.E. 2521 Tochio Fujivara, Thai-Japanese boxer completed for the light weight championship (60 kilogrammes) at RajjaDhamNeun arena. He could defeat Mon Sawan Lukchiengmai at Japan. (This was concerned as the age of development in Thai Boxing skill)
B.E. 2530 There was Amateur Boxing Association of Thailand (Abat)
B.E. 2532 International Facility Management Association (IFMA) was found for managing the interbusiness of boxing.

We call Thailand in the past Suvarnabhumi.(Like biggest Thai Airport today.) We don’t have enough information to support how about Muay was. In this time Thailand have many kingdom in this area. (We haven’t combine to big kingdom yet. It’s look like many town beside.)
In 748, Pe Lore Kho the king found Nan Jao kingdom. (On the north of Thailand.) Nan Jao have war with China in sometimes. Most of fighting use weapons. We have only few record about fighting with empty hand. Most of it was closed fighting. Fighting moves was copied from China.
2.2 Sukhothai Era, 1238-1377
SukhoThai Era is starting of Thailand Kingdom call Siam. (In the past, we don’t have Thailand.We just change country to Thailand 60-70 years ago for easy calling and go inter.)
SukhoThai is capital city of Thailand in this era. Muay was train as Defense art when soldier must fight by empty hand in case no weapons for use. Muay was teached for royal and soldier in the first time and spread to citizen later when soldier retired from army and priesthood at the temple.
Where to training Muay?
1. Temple (Wat) - Retried high skill solider was priesthood at the temple.
2. Home (Baan) - Learn Muay from good skill teacher. Teach for citizen who interest.
3. Royal - Learn defense art. Fighting on horses.

Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is come from “Muay†or “Muay Boran†, Thailand Martial Art used in the war when fight with no weapons. So, I think it’s good if we know how was Muay Thai comes by study Muay Thai History.
Since thousand years ago, No any exactly information proof when it’s start or how it’s comes. Siam country (Thailand) have many wars in every years. Sometimes, weapons were not enough for everyone. Citizen must help themselves by using local Material such as woods to adapt as the weapons to defensed and survived.
However, if didn’t know how to fight with Local weapons, it’s meaningless. So, Thais developed Fighting Art support and invite how to use the local weapons include techniques to fight without weapons in the case didn’t have weapons. We called all of these including “Muay†as “Krabi Krabong†or “Siam Yutâ€.
Weapons List useually used.
1. Krabi or Sword
2. Plong or Long woods.
3. Daab Song Mue or Two Swords.
4. Mai Suak or A pairs of clubs worn under the forearms.
Although using Warpons is fine but we must learn “Muay†moves step together because all movement when Fighting by using warpons was based on “Muay†Moves. We cannot omit “Muayâ€.
